MSG WINS COLBEA'S BEST NEW BUSINESS START UP AWARD

The first "Award for Excellence for the Best New Business Start Up" was presented today at the Colchester Business Enterprise Agency's AGM.

The award was won by MSG Corporate Protection, a security business based in Peartree Road, Colchester. Only one year old, the business has already proven itself in a very competitive area. Now employing five people, the directors first came to COLBEA for start-up and business planning advice in 2002.

This new award was instigated by COLBEA to recognise the achievements of new businesses in Colchester and Tendring. Nominations were put forward from COLBEA's business advisors, who help many businesses get off the ground each year.
